Sony approached us looking to create a Multi-Touch interactive book for Breaking Bad. Using a mix of original content (we created expressly for the book) and existing show materials, we created a truly interactive experience that was just as unconventional and ground-breaking as the critically-acclaimed show. Apple gave Breaking Bad: Alchemy the honor of naming it as one of the Best of the year.


This book was truly a fan’s delight. We created a unique experience with a meth lab full of content, including 2 huge interactive timelines spanning 20 pages - including a guide to Walt and Jesse’s victims. The book is filled with 360 Panoramic galleries, exclusive 3D models (such as Walt’s tighty whities), exclusive photos, and more.


Working directly with Sony, I helped generate original narrative, interviewed creator Vince Gilligan and crew, created multi-media quizzes, and produced exclusive photo shoots. The book covered seasons 1-5, and new updates for season 6 were available during the show’s final season. Sony loved it and heavily marketed it by creating a commercial for the book. The book appeared on Talking Bad and at special events where cast members prominently displayed it.
